Alexander Shunnarah Injury Attorneys Scholar Athletes of the Week

Alexander Shunnarah and My68 are proud to recognize area scholar athletes with the Alexander Shunnarah Injury Attorneys Scholar Athletes Program!

Watch My68 each week to see which local high school students are selected for this honor. Each weekly recipient will be awarded a special plaque and recognized on television as the "Alexander Shunnarah Injury Attorneys Scholar Athletes of the Week".

At the end of the season, one of these scholar athletes will be awarded a $2,500 scholarship courtesy of Alexander Shunnarah Injury Attorneys!

Week January 5, 2012

	Sam Hutcheson Hoover High School Congrats to the inaugural 2012 TNN Shunnarah Injury Attorneys Scholar Athlete of the Week: Sam Hutcheson of Hoover High School! Sam is Captain of the Hoover High Varsity Basketball team, a member of the National Honor Society, the Spanish Honor Society, and Mu Alpha Theta...all while keeping his GPA at an impressive 3.87, staying active in his church, and community.
	Tiffany Keodouangdy Brewbaker Technology Magnet High School Tiffany Keodouangdy, of Brewbaker Technology Magnet High School, is the Senior Volleyball and Soccer Captain, was awarded the "Bump, Set, Spike" Award in 2010, and is a member of Bridge Builders Alabama, a volunteer and leadership organization.

Week January 26, 2012

	Demarcus Threatt Thompson High School Congrats to Demarcus Threatt, the Thompson High School Alexander Shunnarah Injury Attorneys Scholar Athlete of the Week! Demarcus is a four year Letterman for the Varsity Basketball Team, and he's a valuable one, scoring over 1,100 points in his career.  He also played football and baseball for two years and volunteers at youth basketball camps.
	Xavier Lacey Pelham High School Congrats to Xavier Lacey, the Pelham High School Alexander Shunnarah Injury Attorneys Scholar Athlete of the Week! Xavier has been a three-year starter for the Varsity Basketball team and was Pre-Season All County for the last two years. His community activities include Youth Basketball Camp and Pelham Pride Day.

Week January 20, 2012: Special Friday Edition:

	Frankie Mareno Spain Park High School Congratulations to Spain Park High School's Frankie Mareno, the Alexander Shunnarah Injury Attorneys Scholar Athlete of the Week!  Frankie is a valued member of the Varsity Basketball team, and an experienced one as he started playing in first grade.  His community involvement includes being a peer helper for Spain Park and volunteering every Wednesday morning at Shade's Mountain Elm.

Week January 12, 2012

	Jacob Twymon Talladega High School Congratulations to Talladega High School's Alexander Shunnarah Injury Attorneys Scholar Athlete of the Week: Jacob Twymon! Jacob has been the offensive MVP of the THS basketball team for the past 3 years. He is involved with the Kappa League, the National Honor Society, a member of the Usher Board at Kelly Springs Missionary, & set to graduate this year with an advanced diploma.

Week February 6, 2012

	Breion Allen Hoover High School Congratulations to Breion Allen, the Hoover High School Alexander Shunnarah Injury Attorneys Scholar Athlete of the Week!  Breion is the starting shooting guard for the Hoover Lady Bucs.  She's also active in her community as a Peer Helper and Youth Basketball Camp Instructor.  Breion will be attending Rice University this fall on a full athletic scholarship.
	Zach Burns Gadsden City High School Congratulations to Zach Burns, the Gadsden City High School Alexander Shunnarah Injury Attorneys Scholar Athlete of the Week!

Week February 2, 2012

	Andrew Mims Vestavia High School Congratulations to Andrew Mims, the Vestavia High School Alexander Shunnarah Injury Attorneys Scholar Athlete of the Week! He's been playing basketball throughout high school, while also being involved in Habitat for Humanity & the Birmingham Dream Center. Despite his busy schedule, he's kept focus on his studies, as his impressive 4.54 GPA attests!
	Taylor Packer Shades Valley High School Congratulations to Taylor Packer, the Shades Valley High School Alexander Shunnarah Injury Attorneys Scholar Athlete of the Week! Taylor has been both Offensive & Defensive MVP of the high school softball team. She is also a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, the Spanish Club, & has contributed over 250 hours of service to her community.
